Wakin, I received your cd this week, Montreal is far away. The book is already a work of art by itself. There is a lot of work of several artists with a vision of perfection. It succeeded. I understand why you are so proud of this CD . It is the work of a mature artist very very talented, never doubt of it, you wrote wonderful music. The title The Rhapsody was the best for it. As my language is French, it is difficult for me to judge the work of Zhang Da Chun but I think that this work can not be separated from his great talent . I think your respective talents motivated the other one . We can feel the fusion of ideas and looking to make something great. Done perfectly. I love arrangements which are always interesting . The choice of instruments and modern music in a very tradionnal background is fascinating . Images, videos that I was able to see on the Net, made me think that you could do a musical with it. When you listen it, you hear clearly a beginning , a story that evolves and an end. 3 years waiting for this cd have seemed very long but well worth. Congratulations Wakin and all the persons who worked with you on this fabulous cd. You deserve it
